Message from Mother

As we pass our 1 year anniversary I would like to thank all of you who have helped make our first year at Mother & Son Bistro a successful one.  We appreciate your continued support and am proud to say we can call a large number of our customers "friends".

As we move forward into our 2nd year, we try to implement recommendations from you as to how to make your dining experience with us everything you want, so be sure to let us know where we can improve.

As is true in all walks of life, if you are not moving forward, you're actually moving backwards and we do not want to fall into that trap.  In keeping with that philosophy, Mother & Son have started preliminary plans and designs to expand our location to include a full bar with table seating for those that would like a drink and perhaps lite dining.

This plan calls for adding approximately 1000 sq. of the space that used to be occupied by Care Partners.  Because this space is adjacent to us, the renovation should be a relatively uncomplicated one according to our first studies. We have full support of these plans by both the Landlord and our fellow business neighbors in the center. When we have become more firm in our plans, we wish to invite a local Brewery to partner with us on their ales.

We would like to extend this invitation to join our endeavor by coming on board as an investor.  Our business plan calls for a 3 year buyout exit strategy at an interest return rate of 18%.  Yes, you heard it right- 18%.  We are looking to raise $25,000.00-$35,000.00 in $5000.00 increments.

I know that these are some scary times in our economy and they continue this way as people have become paralyzed with fear.  The more money we do not move around and put to work for us, the longer we will be waiting on recovery.  Real Estate is no longer the investors tool of choice, the stock market is unpredictable and most personal assets people can't give away.

I am offering to work hard to see you get a good return on a small investment and most of you who have seen me hobbling around the Bistro these past 2 weeks with a broken knee and broken wrist can honestly say I know how to work hard and am dedicated.

Please contact us with your interest.

Thank You,

Mother
